Essential Beauty & Piercing Joondalup

Posting for the second time as my review has somehow disappeared or been removed. I had an awful experience at Essential Beauty Joondalup and was left incredibly upset. I went with my almost 6 yo to get her ears pierced for her birthday. We were both looking forward to it, and were hoping it was going to be a special day for us. We chose to have both ears pierced at the same time which is a service you pay extra for. One of the girls marked both ears with a pen and checked with me if I was happy with the positioning before they went ahead and pierced them. Once I agreed, two girls pierced my daughter's ears at the same time. When I looked at them, I noticed that one piercing had been done completely wrong and was well above the pen mark. I was shocked and very upset, and so was my daughter. What's worse is that the girl that did it blamed my daughter, repeatedly saying to her that she must have moved. I was right there and I can guarantee that my child did NOT move! We then agreed that they would do it again to fix it which of course took a fair bit of convincing because my poor little one did not want to get her ear pierced again. The same girl that got it wrong the first time did it (and I'm now kicking myself for not having asked the other girl to do it), and much to my disbelief she missed the spot AGAIN!!! She looked at it and said it was now right on the dot, but it is not! I mean just look at the attached picture!! At that point we left without saying anything because by then I was too angry, shocked and upset, and obviously wasn't going to put my daughter through it a third time. As I mentioned, I paid more to have both ears done at the same time and no compensation or refund was offered despite my daughter had to get one ear done twice for their own mistake. In fact, we weren't even given an apology. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a special mother & daughter day turned into an awful experience which has left me really upset. I would NOT recommend this place and I wish I had gone elsewhere. Update: it’s been over 3 weeks since they said a manager would be in touch, but no one has called me. What a joke!

I’ve had more than 5 piercing sessions in the past year 1/2. And I’m a nervous client, but my god are all the staff lovely. They are willing to communicate issues and the process and describe specific tools. My nervous talking habits of calming myself during the procedures the ladies are more than happy to go along. Louise of all is the sweetest and talkative person and she makes the process feel like 5 minutes and laughs all the time. The salon it’s self is a very bright and comfortable area with workers that want you to feel at ease as much as possible

I made an appointment for a single earlobe piercing at essential beauty Joondalup, and I have to say I was quite disappointed with the experience. The staff initially misinformed me about the type of piercing, claiming it was cartilage when it was actually ear lobe. This made me question their knowledge and expertise. When I pointed out their mistake, they responded with attitude and even rolled their eyes. They wanted to charge $150 for this. It's really disheartening when you encounter such unprofessional behavior. I would advise others to be cautious when considering this place for their piercing needs.

My five year old had her ears pierced and the service was excellent. Very professional making sure I was her guardian and checking my driver's licence and Medicare card. The ladies were so fast and efficient doing both ears at once. The experience was made special by giving her a certificate and a little bear to keep. She also got to choose a lollipop.

I went here and got my nose and belly pierced, and would not recommend. I had nothing but issues with the piercing and found that both were done incorrectly, it was a joke at how much pain I have had to go through and now having to get both piercing redone else where and loosing my money I would never ever go back here again. My belly button alone is infected and too much skin was pierced and now I have a massive scare where I should of had a gorgeous piercing. I'm supper not happy at all I highly highly do not recommend.
